I never really trust grocery store berries to be as tasty as those from the farmers' market. These were huge -- six berries made a bowlful. I sliced them and tossed with a few spoons of sugar, and let them generate some juices. Then I added a little bit of balsamic vinegar and a good grinding of black pepper. Yum! Now if only spring would arrive. I am tired of gray skies and chilly rain.
